NORMS AND PROCEDURE FOR PROMOTION TO HIGHER CLASS

ELIGIBILITY :
Students declared PASS, PROMOTED, or BACK PROMOTED, and those who have secured 50% or more of the prescribed semester credits, shall be eligible to apply for admission/promotion to the subsequent higher class/semester, subject to the result/status issued by the competent Examination Department.
Only students who are officially permitted to continue their studies as per the declared result shall be allowed to submit the application.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE :
Eligible students shall submit the prescribed application within the notified time, along with the required documents and applicable fees. The College shall verify the student's result, promotion status, credit requirements, and other applicable conditions before confirming admission.
STUDENTS REQUIRING CLARIFICATION :
Students who do not fall within the above eligibility criteria must contact the College Office/Academic Section for clarification and further course of action. Such students shall not submit an application through the regular promotion process unless specifically permitted.
CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION :
If any student is found ineligible at any stage or point of time, whether due to incorrect information, non-fulfilment of credit requirements, examination status, or any other applicable condition, the admission granted for the concerned semester shall be immediately cancelled without any further notice, clarification, or opportunity for representation from the candidate.
MODIFICATION AND AMENDMENT :
The College reserves the right to modify, amend, revise, or update these norms and procedures whenever required in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, or instructions of the competent authorities.
Any such modification, amendment, or further revision shall be published by the College in the public domain through its official communication channels. Once published, the revised provisions shall be implemented and followed in accordance with the instructions and effective date specified therein.
Students are advised to regularly check the College's official communications for any amendments or updates to these norms.
